OMV Medical was incorporated in 1987 with a solid mission: to offer the highest quality medical and allied health personnel to support Department of Defense, commercial, and local and regional private and community hospitals nationwide. After seven years the company decided to become certified as an 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business by the Small Business Administration.

The company enjoyed steady growth and between 1995 and 2001, successfully performed under two pilot Family Advocacy Program Services contracts for the Air Force at multiple medical facilities across an 18 state area.

In our quarter-century of continuous operation, OMV has successfully provided diversified health care services including the full-time staffing and management of more than 3,000 healthcare physicians, mid-level providers, and ancillary services. These services include specialized nursing, pharmacy, radiology, therapy, nutrition, laboratory, emergency, psychiatry, psychology, social services, critical care, burn unit, and many other specialty units for various government agencies such as the Department of Defense as well as commercial marketplaces.

The majority of our resources through the years have been used to support the Department of Defense in the care and service of its service members and their families. Currently, we provide clinical and technical support at more than 100 multiple client medical treatment facility sites in 42 states. We service not only the federal government, but also state and local agencies, and commercial sites.

Our corporate office is strategically located near our nation’s capital in Takoma Park, Maryland with multiple branch locations in Texas, California, and North Carolina. OMV has successfully mentored more than five small businesses interested in supporting the federal government.
